Mufida Mujanah

Mufida is an Associate in the firm's Corporate, Commercial and Investment Practice Group. Mufida’s corporate and commercial transactions practice is sector agnostic and reaches across highly regulated industries, such as energy, mining, FMCG, fintech, banking and financial services. Currently, she focuses on mergers and acquisitions transactions, strategic partnerships and corporate advisory work in the banking, fintech and financial services industries where the commercialisation of finance, technology, AI and data converge, including other highly regulated industries such as mining and natural resources sectors.

Mufida advises a diverse array of clients including manufacturing, logistics, fintech, energy and mining corporations as well as outsourcing and transportation companies. She provides strategic counselling on legal and regulatory due diligence, compliance and licensing in the financial services sector, including fintech and technology industries, covering key regulations on digital lending, payment services, crypto, banking and finance, technology laws, data privacy and protection.

Before joining Foster, Mufida honed her legal skills in the corporate and capital market practice of a domestic corporate law firm where she was involved in several capital market, commercial and acquisition transactions. Mufida is a key contributor in the full legal due diligence for the Phase I Shelf Public Offering of PT Wahana Interfood Nusantara Tbk, a food manufacturing company, with a transaction value of IDR 100 billion.

Mufida was also involved in the legal due diligence on PT Oilfield Crew Management Indonesia, an outsourcing company supplying manpower to the mining sector, for a cross-border indirect acquisition. She also assisted PT Elnusa Tbk, one of the largest upstream and downstream oil and gas services companies, with the provision of legal advisory on the utilisation and optimisation of its assets in Indonesia, and supported PT Bakti Energi Lestari as the buyer in relation to the preparation of transaction documents for share purchase in PT Nusantara Bara Tambang.
