Lintang is an Associate in the firm's Banking, Finance and Fintech Practice Group. He focuses his core practice on matters relating to corporate finance, M&A, capital markets and inbound investments in the financial services sector, including digital banking, peer-to-peer lending, crypto asset trading and payment services industries. He advises both lenders and borrowers on all aspects of the structuring, negotiation, and documentation of corporate finance deals. He also significant exposure to liquidation, bankruptcy and dispute resolutions as well.
To date, Lintang has worked on an impressive list of noteworthy transactions in the financial services sector, including financing and M&A arrangements in the fintech, payment services, digital banking and crypto asset trading industries where Foster is trusted as the leading transaction counsel for global financial institutions, multinational banks and fintech giants doing business in Indonesia. In a relatively short space of time, he has established himself as a reliable fixer with an ability to stick with a deal from start to finish, contributing to multiple conclusions of the deals in a time-sensitive circumstance.
Beyond the financial services sector, Lintang has gained experience in a wide range of M&A, capital market and commercial matters and litigation in a variety of highly regulated industries including mining, energy, healthcare, real estate, transportation and manufacturing sectors. He recently acted for PT Intan Bumi Persada as a seller in the acquisition of its affiliate in the coal mining sector coal valued at USD 10 million, and also advised Modernland Group’s subsidiaries in relation to the global bonds restructuring in the Singapore Stock Exchange.
Lintang is also very productive when it comes to assisting institutional clients in their liquidation process. He advises various companies in diverse business sectors such as PT Hallin Marine Indonesia, PT Otraco Indonesia and PT GCC Services Indonesia in their liquidation and dissolution processes, including dealing with complex tax and license revocation matters. Lintang also frequently helps Chinese investors on strategies, licensing, joint ventures and compliance matters to help them achieve their expansion objectives to Indonesia.
