Alexander Bolony (Alex)

Alex is an Associate in the firm's Corporate, Commercial and Investment Practice Group. He is a corporate and capital market lawyer who has exceptional breadth of experience in mergers and acquisitions as well as capital market transactions with a particular focus on IPOs, bond issuance, right issues as well as advisory and compliance mandates.

Alex advises corporate clients on various capital market matters, from IPOs to right issues, including public and private M&A, joint ventures, general corporate and commercial including matters related to corporate governance, regulatory compliance and restructuring transactions across a broad range of sectors, notably infrastructure, real estate, telco, banking, fintech and financial services, manufacturing and also shipping.

He was involved in numerous legal due diligence, advisory and transactional matters in relation to successful IPOs of, among others, PT Sunindo Adipersada Tbk, PT Kusuma Kemindo Sentosa Tbk, PT Penta Valent Tbk and PT Kokoh Exa Nusantara Tbk. Within the context of right issue, Alex assisted PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk, PT WEHA Transportasi Indonesia Tbk, PT Sreeya Sewu Indonesia Tbk and PT Catur Sentosa Adiprana Tbk in the full cycle of their right issues processes.

In other notable capital market mandates, Alex contributed as external counsel in multiple tranches of bond issuances of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk from Phase I to Phase IV that included a government guarantee and also Islamic Bonds issuance in the process. He also successfully assisted PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Sulawesi Selatan dan Sulawesi Barat in multiple tranches of IDR Bonds.
