Raka is an Associate in the firm's Banking, Finance and Fintech Practice Group with an extensive regulatory and transactional practice. He has a broad practice covering the dynamic and growing needs of our financial services clients, focusing largely on a wide variety of banking and finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions as well as corporate governance and other general corporate and commercial including regulatory aspects of transactional matters for banks, non-bank financial institutions, insurance and financial technology companies.
Raka advises clients across multiple industry sectors, including financial services (particularly banking, securities and insurance), mining, energy and natural resources, healthcare and pharmaceuticals. Beyond the traditional financing, he regularly works with the firm's financial services clients on a wide range of regulatory, corporate restructuring, strategic investment, joint ventures and reorganization matters.
He advised PT Sarana Multi Infrastructure on the extension of IDR 210 billion credit facilities to three subsidiaries of PT Brantas Energi, that operate in the field of renewable energy investment, for the construction of 7 megawatt mini hydroelectric power plant. Raka further honed his legal skill related to acquisition deals when he counseled a Malaysia-based investment bank on the acquisition of a domestic securities company, and assisted Pertamina Pension Fund on the proposed divestitures of its majority shareholding in PT Perta Life Insurance to PT Asuransi Tugu Pratama.
