Prihandana is a Partner of Foster and spearheads the firm's Commercial Litigation, Antitrust and Insolvency Practice Group. As a disputes lawyer and a licensed Receiver and Administrator (AKPI), Prihandana concentrates his practice on commercial litigation, financial services litigation, bankruptcy and debt restructuring, antitrust and competition, including regulatory investigation involving foreign investors from emerging markets across a wide array of industries, such as financial services, fintech, logistics, energy and natural resources, manufacturing and FMCG, technology, F&B and retail sectors.
His practice is distinguished by a rare fusion of practical experience and expertise in both litigation and corporate work, thereby enabling his advice to go beyond the dispute, focusing on the problem’s solution as well as risk avoidance and crisis management. He has over 15 years of extensive experience as litigator and corporate lawyer, having previously worked at two prominent Indonesian corporate law firms where he was involved in numerous contentious matters, commercial disputes, insolvency mandates, including corporate matters such as joint ventures, acquisition transactions, data privacy and protection work.

His notable work includes negotiating land-use agreements for an MRO facility at Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport; structuring the regulatory framework for duty-free operations at Hang Nadim Airport; advising a prominent manufacturing enterprise in Asia on industrial zone development in Kalimantan; advising on EPC contracts in relation to the development of ammonium nitrate plant in Kalimantan’s Batuta Industrial Zone; procuring environmental permits for zinc/lead mining operations in North Sumatra; representing a renewable energy company in land acquisition; formulating asset recovery framework for a blockchain company; securing port permits for several logistics startups; and advising on Indonesia’s first GDPR-compliant fintech acquisition.
