With more than 20 years of experience as transactional lawyer at prominent local and international law firms, Dicka has extensive experience in advising clients on the structuring, drafting and negotiation of a broad range of transaction documents for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, financing deals, including joint ventures and restructuring-related arrangements.
He has advised a long list of multinational corporations, financial institutions, state-owned enterprises and publicly listed companies operating in the manufacturing, consumer markets, energy, mining, automotive, plantation, logistics, banking, and insurance industries on a wide variety of strategic matters, transactions and projects that require strong legal acumen, deep regulatory insight and commercial judgment.
Clients value Dicka's experience with mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, capital markets, restructurings and reorganisations, joint ventures, foreign investment, corporate governance and regulatory compliance. Throughout his career, Dicka has successfully assisted major multinationals in numerous noteworthy corporate, M&A and financing transactions, particularly Korean clients, given his long tenure at Jipyong, one of the largest Korean law firms.
He advised KB Capital Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of Korea's largest financial services conglomerate, KB Financial Group, on the acquisition of a local multi-finance company, and Mirae Asset Management on its Series C investment in HappyFresh Group. Dicka also counseled KB Financial Group on the transfer of non-performing loans exceeding IDR 4 trillion from a publicly listed Indonesian bank, and advised Kakao Bank on its strategic 10% equity investment in Superbank, a leading Indonesian digital bank valued at more than IDR 1.2 trillion, including its staged acquisition of a 67% controlling interest in a publicly listed multi-finance company.
Dicka is the firm's go-to lawyer when it comes to regulatory knowledge and insight in highly regulated industries such as energy, mining, infrastructure, and advanced manufacturing. He has provided legal advisory and regulatory compliance support for Doosan Indonesia, subsidiary of Doosan Group, a major South Korean multinational conglomerate that is also South Korea's oldest running company (founded in 1896) as the main contractor of the Java 9 & 10 (2 × 1,000 MW) power plant project, with a contract value of approximately USD 3.5 billion. He also successfully assisted a consortium of LG, Hyundai, and KIA in establishing an Indonesian electric vehicle battery joint venture, involving capital injection exceeding IDR 5 trillion, and led the entire regulatory and corporate establishment work for Hyundai Motor Company to support its Indonesian automotive manufacturing operations.
Beyond his massive Korean clientele, Dicka frequently advises prominent Japanese corporations in relation to general corporate, commercial and investment matters. He advised Mitsubishi Corporation on the co-development of the Orange County superblock in Cikarang with Lippo Group, and assisted Marubeni Corporation on the establishment of its healthcare business in Indonesia. Currently, he represents SBI Holdings in the liquidation process of its affiliate and investment portofolio in Indonesia.

· Rocktree Logistic Holdings as the debtor in relation to the extension of USD 68 million loan facilities from HSBC Bank (Singapore) Limited.
· Sawit Mas Group as the debtor on the provision of USD 68 million loan facilities from Credit Suisse (Singapore branch).
· Fairfax Asia Limited on the restructuring and acquisition of 80% shareholding in PT Asuransi Multi Artha Guna Tbk.
· Hanwha Insurance and DB Insurance on various regulatory issues and acquisition of Indonesian insurance companies.
· The sellers on the sale of majority ownership in PT Raja Kutai Baru Makmur, a large coal mining company, to PT Ancora Indonesia Resources Tbk.
· Sawit Mas Group in its sale of 20 plantation, oleochemical, and industrial estate companies to affiliate companies of PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantations Tbk, which involved a complex debt restructuring exceeding US$800 million with several financial institutions and a US$2 billion off-take arrangement with Procter & Gamble as the previous off-taker of the oleochemical products.
· PT Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada Tbk in its issuance of USD 20 million Promissory Notes.
· PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk in its issuance of USD 109 million equity-linked notes.
